Swine flu reaches 200-mark in Maharashtra

Mumbai: 204 people have succumbed to swine flu in Maharashtra. 12,72,119 people have been examined for swine flu, with 64,366 suspected patients being administered Tamiflu.

The number of persons who tested positive for the H1N1 influenza is 4,219 of which 3,976 got cured and discharged.

Altogether 235 persons, including 39 positive cases and 196 suspected cases, are still being treated at various hospitals in the state. Ten patients are on ventilator according to our sources.

Isolation wards have been set up at 101 places and screening centres at 607 places in the state.
