Sandra Bullock says she has learnt from “painful mistakes” of spending money on useless items and insists she now keeps a tab on her spendthrift nature.

The 45-year-old Oscar-winning star is now extra careful when she spends on dresses and accessories.

“I”ve learned from painful mistakes about the pressure in the store to pay exorbitant amounts for stuff that isn”t right.

“Five years later, it’’s still in your closet with the tag on it. I have 900-dollar guilt shoes. I”m thinking about putting them on a shelf with a spotlight on them to remind me about such mistakes,” the Daily Express quoted Bullock, as saying.

Leonardo DiCaprio is helping pal Kate Winslet deal with her marriage breakdown, it has emerged.

DiCaprio and Winslet rose to fame playing lovers in ‘Titanic’ and were reunited on screen two years ago in ‘Revolutionary Road’ – directed by her husband Sam Mendes.

The primary school for girls, which Angelina Jolie funded in Tangi, Afghanistan, is all set to open its doors to 800 students, according to a UNHCR statement.

Jolie, the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, visited a refugee settlement in Afghanistan’’s eastern Nangarhar province and donated a whopping 75,000 dollars toward the school’’s construction.
