Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen has been released from jail after posting an 8,500-dollar bond.
The ‘Two and a Half Men’ star was arrested on charges related to an alleged case of domestic violence in the Colorado resort town of Aspen.
Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller claimed that the actor choked her, reports the Radar Online.
The couple is said to have a heated argument but Aspen police did not believe there was any doubt about who turned violent and that’s why only Sheen was arrested.
Sheen was charged with two felonies — second degree assault and menacing. He also was charged with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
It was being said that the couple was drunk when they were embroiled in a tiff.
According to TMZ.com, Mueller had also accepted during the bail hearing that she was drunk.
According to sources close to law enforcement agency blood alcohol tests showed Brooke registered a .13, which is legal, while Charlie registered a .04.
However, law enforcement sources say police will still pursue the case — at least for now.
