NEW YORK: Auto workers of the United States would hold an emergency meeting regarding bailout package for the inuustry.

The meeting would take place on Wednesday to discuss concessions. UAW leaders called the meeting Monday night.

Members of the committee that negotiated contracts last year with General Motors Corp., Chrysler LLC and Ford Motor Co. also will attend.

Many of the auto giants have told that if they don’t get government help in the shape of bailout package, they would have to declare bankrupt themselves.
